Takeout Sev is a small collection-food business in Kamata, Ota City, and this page covers what happens to your details whether you order at the counter, phone ahead, or book a catering job. The short version: we collect what a takeaway order actually needs and nothing more, and none of it is sold or traded.
The site itself stores no personal data. If you email us about a catering order or use the contact form, we receive what you chose to send — typically your name, a phone number, and any date or headcount details for the order.
Details you send are used for exactly one thing: preparing your order or answering your catering question. We do not add anyone to a mailing list, and we do not share order details with advertisers.
No trackers or ad scripts run on this site, including the ordering form. The only thing saved locally is whether you have already closed the cookie notice — clear your browser data and it simply reappears.
No third party receives your details from us — not for marketing, not for "partnerships", not in aggregate. The only exception is a lawful order we cannot refuse.
Order and catering enquiries are kept only as long as needed to fulfil the order and handle any follow-up — usually a matter of weeks — then deleted. Records we must keep for tax purposes are retained for the statutory period only.
Ask at any time what we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it — email hello@takeoutsev.com. We will confirm it is really you before acting on the request, same as we would for a large catering change.
Order details and catering bookings sit in an access-protected mailbox and till system, readable only by the staff taking and preparing your order.
We handle personal information under Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI, 個人情報保護法). The basis is straightforward: you write to us or place a phone-ahead order, we use what you sent to answer or prepare it, and nothing else. We do not buy contact lists and we do not build a profile of anyone who has not ordered or written in.
If we ever discover that data we hold has been accessed or lost without authorisation, we assess the risk quickly, tell anyone affected, and notify Japan’s Personal Information Protection Commission if the law requires it. Given how little we hold — mostly a name, a phone number, and an order note — the realistic exposure is small, but the process still applies without exception.
Email naturally passes through servers outside Japan as part of ordinary delivery, which is a feature of how the internet works rather than a deliberate transfer of your details. We do not otherwise share your information with processors, marketers, or analytics providers based overseas, and we run no third-party analytics or advertising tool on this site.
For catering and garden-party orders, we ask for a delivery or collection date, a headcount, and dietary requirements in addition to the usual contact details. That information is used only to prepare the order correctly and is kept with the job record for the length of time we would keep any other correspondence, then deleted on the same schedule.
